Visit of the Ministerial Committee Assigned to Evaluate the Academic Status of Veterinary Medicine Colleges to the College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Fallujah
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Fallujah welcomed the Ministerial Committee assigned to evaluate the academic status of veterinary medicine colleges in Iraqi universities. This visit comes within the framework of the continuous efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance academic performance, ensure the quality of education, and achieve academic accreditation standards.
The committee members were received by the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Hadeel Mohammed Fayyad, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Attaallah Fahad, along with several heads of scientific departments and faculty members.
During the visit, the committee reviewed the college’s infrastructure, classrooms, scientific laboratories, and the college’s animal field facilities. The committee also examined academic, scientific, and administrative records and assessed the status of educational and research programs and their compliance with approved academic standards.
In her remarks, the Dean emphasized the college’s commitment to developing its educational and research environment and enhancing the quality of its academic outcomes in line with the vision of the University of Fallujah and the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. She also highlighted the important role of ministerial committees in supporting institutional development and achieving quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
The ministerial committee commended the high level of organization and cooperation demonstrated by the college and expressed its appreciation for the efforts made by the college administration and staff in advancing the educational and research process and improving the academic environment.
This visit is part of a series of field visits conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to monitor academic performance in colleges of veterinary medicine and evaluate their compliance with quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements, thereby contributing to strengthening veterinary education in Iraq and enhancing its scientific and professional outcomes.
